Email
If you wish to associate an email with another contact, you will need to unlink email from the contact it is associated with, then re-assign it to another contact. The 'Unlink' link (no pun intended) is located on the contact’s email message view pane:
If the message was archived, it will automatically become unarchived after you unlink it from contact.
NB: If you do not future emails from the same sender to be automatically assigned to the same contact, don't forget to remove that email address from the contact details.
To switch between HTML and plain text formatting, click on the toggle link in compose window as shown below:

When in HTML mode, you can use HTML signatures and canned responses. Simply copy and paste the HTML source code into identity signature or canned response field (both are accessible in department settings).
Each Relenta account comes with a built-in SMTP (outgoing) email account that allows you to send up to 250 email messages per day. If you need to send more, you can add any number of your own SMTP servers to your Relenta account in Settings > Email accounts > Add new outgoing email account.
If you are using Google Apps email services you will need to verify domain ownership before you can use Google’s SMTP.
Keep in mind that domain verification isn't instantaneous. Contact Google Apps support for additional help.
To insert an unsubscribe link (or any other hyperlink) when composing a "Mail to group" or creating an email campaign template in Rich text mode, follow these steps:
- Highlight the words that you want to link, i.e. 'click here to unsubscribe'
- Click on the 'Insert/edit link' button on the formatting toolbar
- In the Link URL field in the pop up window, enter [REMOVE] (or URL of the hyperlink)
- Click Save
Each department has a user-defined default email address *****@relenta.net for both sending and receiving email. You can set up automatic email forwarding to your *****@relenta.net address, and reply to emails from Relenta using any address.
You can also add any number of remote incoming (POP/IMAP) and outgoing (SMTP) email servers in Settings > Email accounts.
Email filters allow you to do a number of things with incoming email messages based on the criteria you define. For example, you can automatically create a contact from incoming email, move email to another folder, assign contact to a group or automatic email campaign, trigger an autoresponder, etc.
Select a file (or files) that you would like to attach from the multiple selection scroll-box in the compose window.
Users can upload any number of files to each department that will be shared among other users, for example, price lists, product literature, presentation, images, etc. Any file format is accepted, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF, GIF, JPEG, etc. Shared files can be added as attachment to email messages without having to upload the file from your local hard drive every time.
To send an email to a group of contacts, go to that group and click 'Mail to group' button.
