I get an error when trying to add SMTP, IMAP or POP email account, what should I do?

This happens when your server returns an error. More often than not it has to do with an authorization issue or permissions. Each server returns its own errors.

If you contact support for help, the following information is required:

  1. The actual error message – copy & paste or attach the screenshot
  2. Login details for email account in question so we can reproduce the problem, fix it, then verify that it was fixed.
